RoofCare

Your roof, its history, and everything in writing

RoofCare is where a Cityline customer reports a problem, books an inspection, reads a quotation, follows the job and keeps every document — instead of a folder of emails and a photograph of an invoice.

There is no password — we email you a link

RoofCare has no account to create and no password to remember. When you send an enquiry we email you a link, and after that you can ask for a fresh one whenever you need it: it goes to the email address or telephone number already on your record. A link from a quotation or an invoice opens that one record; an account link opens everything at once. Links expire, so asking for a new one is normal rather than a sign that something is wrong. Where a feature is not live yet, the list below says so — and anything urgent is still faster by telephone.

What RoofCare does

My Cityline — your whole job on one page
Enquiry, inspection, quotation, work, payment and guarantee as a single strip, with the step you are on marked and a way into each record you are entitled to open. It is the page your account link opens.
Report a roof problem
Describe what you can see, add up to twelve photographs, and say how soon it needs looking at. Photographs only for now — no video, and our privacy notice says why. You can add more from your own link afterwards.
Book an inspection
Pick a time from the calendar when you send your enquiry, and we confirm it. From your own link you can ask to move it, or cancel it.
Read and accept a quotation
Itemised, with optional works you can include or leave out, and a record of exactly what you accepted and when. Print it or save it as a PDF from the same page.
Follow the work
Your dates, where the work has got to, and photographs added as it progresses. If a confirmed date has to move we tell you, and the message carries a link straight to the tracker.
Invoices and receipts
What is due, what has been paid, what is left, and every payment listed — printable, like the quotation. Invoices are settled by bank transfer; paying by card on this website is not live.
Guarantees and documents
Your guarantee certificate, printable, kept where you can find it in five years rather than in a drawer.
Messages in one thread — in build
Everything about a job in one place instead of across three inboxes and a phone. Today: telephone, WhatsApp and email.
Maintenance reminders — in build
A prompt to have the gutters cleared before winter, which is the cheapest roof maintenance there is. Today: telephone or email us when you would like it looked at.

Why build this at all

Because the ordinary experience of having roof work done is that you cannot see the roof, you cannot easily check what was done, and six months later you cannot find the paperwork. Every one of those is fixable, and none of them is fixed by a nicer brochure.

The parts that do it are the ones you can see — the enquiry, the calendar, the quotation, the tracker, the invoice and the guarantee — and the ones you cannot: the permissions that decide which of those a tenant may open, and the audit trail that records who changed what and when. Two items on the list above are still being built, and they are labelled. The rest is working today.

If you have lost your link

Ask for a new one and it goes to the email address or telephone number on your record. Telephone, WhatsApp and email all reach the same people and all get an answer.
