Website terms

The terms for using this website. Roofing work is carried out under our terms of business, and booking an inspection is explained in our inspection terms.

Who runs this website

This website is operated by Cityline Roofing Expert Ltd (Registered in England and Wales, company number 16669422; registered office: 47a Queensbury Road, London, England, NW9 8LS). We trade from 4 Collingham Road, London SW5 0LT. You can email us at [email protected] or telephone 0203 490 8265; the contact page has other ways to reach us.

Using this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use it.

You may read, print and share its pages for your own, non-commercial use. The text, photographs and design belong to Cityline Roofing Expert Ltd or are used with permission, and may not be republished as your own or used commercially without our written permission.

Please do not misuse the website: do not try to gain unauthorised access to it, its server or its database; do not introduce viruses or anything else harmful; do not try to overload it; and do not collect its content automatically in a way that slows it down for other people.

Some pages are for you alone: your enquiry, your bookings, your quotations, your invoices and your documents. We give you access by emailing you a secure link. Please do not forward those emails — anyone holding a link that still works can open the pages it leads to. If you think someone else has used one, tell us and we will stop it working.

When you send us information through those pages — photographs, a request to change a visit, the acceptance of a quotation — please make sure it is accurate, and send only photographs you took or have the right to share.

Booking and work

Sending an enquiry or asking for an inspection time does not create a contract for roofing work. How booking an inspection works is explained in our inspection terms. Roofing work is carried out under our terms of business, which come with every quotation; a contract for work is made only when you accept a quotation. Nothing on the general pages of this website is an offer to do work at a particular price.

The information on these pages

The guides and service pages describe how roofing work is generally done. They are written carefully, and they are general information rather than advice about your building. No two roofs are the same, and nothing here replaces someone looking at yours.

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free from errors, and we may change or remove pages at any time.

Where this site links elsewhere, those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content.

Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on general information on this website without having your property looked at, or by a virus or other harmful material that we could not reasonably have prevented. If you use the website for business purposes, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, business, revenue or opportunity arising from that use.

Your information

How we use personal information is explained in our privacy notice, and the cookies page explains what this website stores on your device.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this website when you use it is the one that applies. Last updated: 23 October 2026.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the place where you live.

If something is wrong

  1. Tell us. Most things are fixed fastest that way.
  2. If it is about our work or our service, our complaints procedure explains what we will do.
  3. If it concerns your personal data, the privacy notice sets out your rights and how to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
